Wednesday we had the opportunity to travel around Dayton to the participating KinderCare partners in our annual Movers for Moms collection for Harvest House Dayton. Today, we are going to pick up the donated items from Pathway School of Discovery! Here are a few pictures from the pick-up…
It’s that time of year again! Our annual Movers for Moms® program is in full swing and has more participation than ever before. We’re happy to announce the support of several area KindCare® Learning Centers collecting items for Harvest House! And we can’t forget our faithful partners at Pathway School of Discovery. This will be their third year participating with us!
Here is a list of the items that the shelter is in need of. We are also accepting creature-comfort/gift-type items such as lotions and soaps to give to the moms.

Since the beginning of May, we at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Dayton North have been offering an incentive for whoever takes the time to fill out a reply card online. For those of you who don’t know about our reply cards, for every move, an email is sent a few days after the move takes place asking the customer to take a few minutes and fill out a short, 6-question survey that gives us a good idea of how satisfied each customer is with the services we have provided.
For every reply card we receive, we give a 50 cent donation to Harvest House. Harvest House is an organization set up to give aid to women ages 13 to 24 facing any one of a variety of difficult issues such as abuse, depression, and anxiety. Harvest House places these women into a family environment in which they can receive all the attention they need in order to continue to move forward in life and put them on the path to success. Needless to say, it is a worthwhile cause that is having a strong positive impact on our Dayton community.
All in all, this is a win-win situation for everyone (or should I say win-win-win?). YOU win because by filling out the online survey, you are helping yourself and others receive better service from TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®. Plus, you will come away with pride that you have given to a worthy cause. HARVEST HOUSE wins because they are receiving financial support necessary to continue serving the community. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® wins because with your feedback, we will be able to continue improving our services in order to truly exceed your every expectation.
So, what are you waiting for? If you haven’t yet filled out your reply card, get on it!
Take care and God bless,
